Gold prices are trading in today’s European session above 2300 levels.
Gold prices held steady in European trading on Wednesday, hovering near a key support level of $2300 as traders awaited the results of the U.S. Federal Reserve meeting and upcoming inflation data.
The metal had recently experienced a sharp decline due to diminishing expectations of U.S. rate cuts in the face of persistent inflation and a robust labour market.
Additionally, a stronger dollar and rising Treasury yields exerted further pressure on gold prices.
