In European trading, the US Dollar pushed higher against the Canadian Dollar, trading above 1.400 levels.
The USD/CAD currency pair was on the rise in the European session as positive pressure for the US dollar was created with hopes of the US government shutdown being resolved soon. In Canada, Building Permits data will be released today (13:30 GMT). In the US, API Weekly Crude Oil Stock data will be released (21:30 GMT).*
