The Australian Dollar declined against the US Dollar during Asian trading below 0.6500 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair weakened to a three week low in the Asian session following disappointing employment data from Australia, which may increase the chances of the RBA cutting interest rates. In Australia, Unemployment Rate figures for June released this morning were 4.3% vs 4.1% exp. In the US, Retail Sales data for June (0.1% exp), Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index for July (-1.2) and Initial Jobless Claims (233k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
