The USD/TRY edged upwards during the Asian session to trade at 13.7065 this morning. The pair traded sideways in unusually quiet trading on Friday, except for one blip down in the morning. Turkey’s CPI for November rose 21.31%, Year-over-Year, and 3.51%, Month-over-Month. Nonfarm Payroll Change in the United States disappointed, landing on 210,000 new jobs versus the 550,000 analysts had predicted. The U.S. Unemployment Rate for November fell to 4.2%. The consensus forecast was 4.5%.
