The US Dollar jumped against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 40.20 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair surged to a near four month high in the Asian session following a report this week from Goldman Sachs that the exchange rate will hit 45 within 12 months. In Turkey, Net FX Reserves (57.47% last month) will be released (13:30 GMT+1). In the US, Retail Sales data for June (0.1% exp), Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index for July (-1.2) and Initial Jobless Claims (233k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
