Lufthansa (#LHA.DE) weekly uptrend opportunity based On 1.00 Lot Calculation:

- EVENT: HOLIDAY SEASON. Lufthansa Group airlines offer 80,000 seats on 440 additional flights for the upcoming holidays. Although Lufthansa expects more restrictions on flights for unvaccinated people, the company says it has not had any problem applying the new rules so far.
- Pfizer and Moderna expect their Covid-19 vaccine to hold up against the omicron variant and data on how well it protects should be available within two to three weeks.
- Australia’s Chief Medical Officer Paul Jelly said that there is no evidence that Omicron is more deadly than other strains. He also said that of the over 300 cases that have now been diagnosed in many countries, they have all been very mild or in fact had no symptoms at all.
- November 8 - The opening of US borders to vaccinated travelers from Europe. Since the announcement of the opening, the number of weekly bookings has increased by 51% compared to the previous weeks.
- Earnings report Q3 - Lufthansa beat analysts’ expectations to post a quarterly profit for the first time since the pandemic. The company reported earnings of €17m. In the previous quarter, Lufthansa booked a loss of more than €950m. The price was 3.7% up yesterday.
- Lufthansa repaid the last of its 9 billion-euro ($10.3 billion) bailout ahead of schedule, paving the way for the German government to sell its stake in the airline group for a significant profit. The state stands to net close to $1 billion in profit once it sells its 14% holding over the next two years.
- PRICE ACTION: The price is currently moving around €5.77 which is 62.6 % below the pre covid level of € 15.43. Potential growth in order to reach the pre covid level is 167.42%.
- Wall Street Journal analysts have a medium target at €7.13 while Bloomberg’s medium target is at €6.19.
