EVENT (January 31, AFTERMARKET): Q4 EARNING REPORTS: AMD will announce its Q4 earning reports on January 31, aftermarket. According to Bloomberg from the last 10 earnings releases, AMD EPS was all 10 times above expectations and 9 out of 10 times AMDs revenue beat expectations.
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS: According to monthly Stochastic and MACD oscillators, AMD price is on the deep oversold area which could imply trend reversal.
AMD: PRICE ACTION
THE STOCK HAS HAD A DOWNWARD CORRECTION OF AROUND 67% FROM IT'S ALL- TIME HIGH OF $164.36 (November 28, 2021). The stock fell to its lowest level since July 2020 at 54.52$ in September 2022 . AMD was last trading around $71.58, and if a full recovery follows to recent all- time highs, the stock could see an upside of around 130%, however the price could decline further.
ANALYST OPINION: Bernstein forecasts $95 a share. Susquehanna forecasts $80. Wedbush forecasts $100. Credit Suisse forecasts $90. Bloomberg one year price target consensus stands at 84.94$.
