Description:

The Hong Kong 50 Index is a market capitalization-weighted stock market index that records and monitors the daily changes of the largest companies trading on the Hong Kong stock market and is indicative of the Hang Seng Index. The Hang Seng Index considered being the primary indicator of overall market health in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong 50 Index constituted of 50 companies representing around 58% of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKG) has some 1,200 listed companies.
