Verizon Communications Inc is an American multinational telecommunications conglomerate which provides wireline voice and data services, wireless and internet services and directory information. The company also provides network services for the US federal government including payphones. Verizon is currently the most used wireless phone service in the US and the second most used telecom services provider in the US. The company offers service to clients in over 150 countries. Verizon employs some 155,400 employees.
