The USA500 is currently trading above 5,580 levels.
Wall Street's main indexes closed higher on Thursday, with the Nasdaq rising sharply after July U.S. retail sales data signalled strong consumer spending, pushing aside fears of a potential recession in the world's largest economy. Retail sales increased 1.0%, easing fears of an economic slowdown supported by a jump in the unemployment rate last week.
The S&P 500 increased 1.61%, the Nasdaq 100 rose 2.34%, while the Dow Jones was up 1.39%.
