U.S. LABOUR MARKET DATA:
- TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 AT 15:00 GMT: U.S. JOLTS JOB OPENINGS (SEPTEMBER). The report will provide further insight into U.S. labor demand and whether businesses are continuing to reduce hiring. A decline in job openings could indicate weaker economic conditions and reinforce expectations of a less restrictive Federal Reserve policy, potentially supporting platinum prices.
- WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4 AT 13:15 GMT: U.S. ADP NONFARM EMPLOYMENT CHANGE (OCTOBER). The ADP report will offer an early indication of private-sector employment trends ahead of Friday's official jobs report. Employment growth below expectations could increase concerns about the strength of the U.S. economy, potentially weakening the U.S. dollar and supporting platinum prices.
- FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 AT 13:30 GMT: U.S. NONFARM PAYROLLS (NFP) AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATE (OCTOBER). The official employment report will be one of the week's most important economic releases. Investors will monitor job creation, unemployment and wage growth for signs of further changes in labor market conditions. Stronger-than-expected figures could support the U.S. dollar and weigh on platinum, while weaker data could increase expectations of monetary easing and provide support for the metal.
CHINA:
- MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9 AT 02:30 GMT: CHINA INFLATION (CPI) (OCTOBER) (PREVIOUS: +0.9%)
- TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10 AT 04:00 GMT: CHINA EXPORT AND IMPORT DATA (OCTOBER) (EXPORT PREVIOUS: +36.3%; IMPORT PREVIOUS: +31%)
- MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16 AT 03:00 GMT: CHINA INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION (OCTOBER) (PREVIOUS: +5.5%)
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS:
- SUPPORT AREA: $1,400 - $1,300. After breaking below its previous support level of 1,500, platinum has now approached its next support zone, between 1,300 and 1,400. This area has not been tested since September 2025. However, price could experience upward correction.
