US ISM Manufacturing PMI (June) (July 1 at 15:00 GMT+1)
The ISM Manufacturing PMI previous print was 54.0. The number was lower than the expected 53.3.

US Unemployment Rate and Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) (June) (July 2 at 13:30 GMT+1)
The previous month (May) saw unemployment remain at 4.3%. Nonfarm Payrolls for the previous month (May) printed 172,000, much higher than forecasts for 85,000.

OPEC+ Meeting (July 5th at 11:00 GMT+1)
The OPEC+V7 meeting will be held (Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman). This meeting is significant since it will be the first OPEC gathering since the US-Iran peace agreement. In June OPEC agreed an output increase of 188,000 bpd to take effect from July.

NATO SUMMIT (July 7 - July 8)
The 2026 NATO summit will take place in Ankara, Turkey and will include leaders of top NATO countries including the US. It should include an appearance from US President Trump.

Company Q2 Earnings Season (July 13 – July 31)
The 2nd Quarter (Q2) earnings season kicks off in Mid-July with the banks leading the charge.
Of the major companies, Bank of America, JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs (July 14) and Netflix (July 16) will declare their earnings.

US Inflation (CPI) data (June) (July 14 at 13:30 GMT+1)
Top-line Inflation (CPI) for May came in at 4.2%, in line with expectations. Core Inflation (excluding food and energy) was 2.9% in May.

Federal Reserve Chair testimony to Congress (July 14 at 15:00 GMT+1)
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh will deliver his first semiannual monetary policy testimony to Congress. In the hearing he will outline the bank’s economic outlook and interest rate decisions.

Bank of Canada (BoC) Meeting (July 15 at 15:45 GMT+1)
The Bank of Canada will meet to set interest rates. They are currently 2.25% after a rate cut of 25 basis points in October. In June rates were left unchanged.

US Retail Sales (June) (July 16 at 13:30 GMT+1)
Month-over-Month Retail Sales was at 0.9 % in May, which was higher than the expected 0.5%.

European Central Bank (ECB) Meeting (July 23 at 13:15 GMT+1)
The European Central Bank will meet to discuss interest rates. Rates are currently at 2.40% after a rate increase of 25 basis points in June. Market expectations are that the ECB is likely to keep rates on hold this month.

Federal Reserve (FED) meeting and press conference (July 29 at 19:00 GMT+1 and 19:30 GMT+1)
The Federal Open Market Committee of the U.S. The Federal Reserve will conclude its 2-day meeting to decide on interest rates. The current rate is 3.75%. Analysts expect the rate to remain at 3.75%.

Bank of England (BoE) Meeting (July 30 at 12:00 GMT+1)
The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England will meet to decide on interest rates. The current rate is 3.75% and expectations are that rates are most likely to remain unchanged this month.

Bank of Japan Meeting (July 31 at 04:00 GMT+1)
The Bank of Japan will meet to set its interest rates. In June the bank raised interest rates by 25 basis points to 1.00%. Current expectations are that the bank is expected to keep rates at current levels at this meeting.
