Weekly Special Report: CRUDE OIL
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS:
- RESISTANCE AREA: $90–$95. Since late May, the crude oil price has tested the $90 level or above only three times.
- SUPPORT AREA: $80–$75. On the previous two occasions, after testing $90 or above, crude oil prices subsequently pulled back toward the $80–$75 region.

DOWNTREND

UPTREND
- STRAIT OF HORMUZ UNCERTAINTIES: Continued uncertainty surrounding the Strait of Hormuz is keeping upward pressure on oil prices.
- U.S.–IRAN CONFLICT: The United States and Iran have recently exchanged strikes and attacks. They also engaged in tanker-for-tanker attacks, keeping upward pressure on oil prices.
- YEMENI HOUTHIS–SAUDI ARABIA CONFLICT: The conflict between the Yemeni Houthis and Saudi Arabia continues to escalate, putting upward pressure on oil prices.
