The Australian Dollar fell against the US Dollar during European trading below 0.6430 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair slightly lost ground in the European session after the US dollar strengthened on hopes of a near future trade war de-escalation. In Australia Q1 Private New Capital Expenditure data was posted with data being lower for this quarter than the previous quarter (-0.1% this quarter vs 0.5% previous quarter). In the US, Q1 GDP data (-0.3% expected) and Initial Jobless Claims (229k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
