The Australian Dollar increased against the US Dollar during European trading above 0.6500 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair has traded upward in the European session as a new trade deal was concluded between Vietnam and the US and ahead of US NFP data. In Australia, Trade Balance data for May was published with results being lower than expected (2.238B realised vs 5.080B expected). In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls and Unemployment Rate for June (120k and 4.3% expected respectively) and Initial Jobless Claims (239k exp) will be posted (13.30 GMT+1), US Services PMI for June (53.1 exp) will be revealed (14:45 GMT+1) and ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI data for June (50.8 exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
