The Australian Dollar rose against the US Dollar during European trading above 0.6600 levels.
The AUD/USD traded higher in the European Session, as investors are anticipating the continuation of an interest rate cut cycle by the FED in 2026, given bad US labor market data and the election of a new FED chairman by the middle of next year. In Australia, Trade Balance data for October came in lower than expected (4.385 bln realised vs 4.420 bln expected). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (220k expected) will be released (13:30 GMT).
