The Australian Dollar fell against the US Dollar during European trading below 0.6700 levels.
The AUD/USD traded lower in the European Session, as worse than expected Chinese industrial production data came out, creating negative pressure on the aussie, given that China is Australia’s biggest trading partner. In Australia, RBA Assistant Governor Jones spoke early this morning. In the US, NY Empire State Manufacturing Index data for December (18.70 last month) will be posted (13:30 GMT).
