In European trading, the Australian Dollar is trading lower against the US Dollar, with AUD/USD trading below the 0.6700 level.
The pair is giving back part of its earlier morning-session gains as markets turn cautious ahead of key US data releases later today. In Australia Building Approvals data for November came in on target at 15.2% this morning. In the US, Retail Sales for November (0.4% expected) and PPI for October (0.3% last month) will be released (13:30 GMT).
