The Euro rose sharply on Tuesday after Eurozone inflation numbers came in higher than expected and U.S. Treasury yields fell. It is currently 1.13576. France’s GDP for the 4th Quarter was reported to be 3.0%, Quarter-over-Quarter, as expected. The Eurozone CPI for November rose 4.9%, Year-over-Year. The consensus forecast was an increase of 4.5%. The United States will report the Conference Board Consumer Confidence for November Index later today. U.S. Fed Chairman Powell and Treasury Secretary Yellen are scheduled to testify before the Senate Banking Committee today.
