The EUR/USD pair was stable today with 0.25% increase. It is currently 1.0819. Today’s reports showed CPI fell in December 0.4% after November’s 0.1% decrease. YoY inflation fell from 10.1% in November to 9.2% in December. The US dollar remains under pressure after yesterdays worse than expected economic results. Both retail sales and PPI data also were disappointing. Today's reports showed that initial jobless claims last week fell from 205K to 190K and the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing Index in January improved from -13.7 to -8.9.
