In European trading, the euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0900 mark.

The EUR/USD pair struggled to extend Friday’s recovery above the immediate resistance of 1.0870 in Monday’s European session. In the Eurozone, Construction output data for September came in at 0.1%. In the Eurozone, German PPI data for September came in at 1.4% vs -0.8% expected. In the United States, Fed Members Daly and Kashkari will speak (18:00 and 23:40 respectively).
