In European trading, the euro rose against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.0500 mark.
The EUR/USD is gaining ground in today’s trade following a sharp dip in this morning's trade caused by the deepening political crisis in Germany (the Government will soon hold a vote of no-confidence and new parliamentary elections are expected at the start of 2025). In Europe, CPI Inflation figures for October were released and the results were as expected (2% expected and realised) . In the United States, Housing Starts (1.340 mln exp) and Building Permits data (1.440 mln exp) for October will be released (13:30 GMT).
