In European trading, the euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0480 mark.
Since this morning the pair has taken on a new downward path following the vote of no-confidence to the German government of Olaf Scholz, increasing instability on the continent. In Europe, German Ifo Business Climate data for December was posted with worse than expected results (84.7 vs 85.5 expected) and German ZEW Economic Sentiment for December was better than expected (15.7 vs 6.8 expected) . In the US, Retail Sales for November (0.5% expected) and Industrial Production PMI data for November (0.1% exp) will be released at 13:30 GMT and 14:15 respectively.
