In European trading, the euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.1630 mark.
The EUR/USD traded downward in the European session, as higher than expected US CPI inflation created positive pressure for the greenback and ahead of US PPI inflation data coming out today. In Europe, Eurozone Trade Balance figures for May were released with data being higher than expected (16.2 B realised vs 13.9 B expected). In the US, PPI Inflation data for June (0.3% exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
