In European trading, the euro advanced against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1600 mark.
The EUR/USD rose in the European session ahead of the Jackson Hole Symposium on August 22nd and as a possibility of a trilateral US-Russia-Ukraine meeting is rising. In Europe, Current Account data came out with data being higher than expected (35.8B realised vs 33.4B expected). In the US, Building Permits data (1.39 million exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
