In European trading, the euro retreated against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD fell in the European session following lower than expected producer price inflation in Germany which is increasing the odds of a rate cut by the European Central Bank, creating negative pressures on the euro. In Europe, Eurozone CPI data came out in line with expectations (2.0%) and German PPI data came out lower than expected (-1.5% realised vs -1.3% expected). In the US, FED Governor Chrisopher Waller will speak (16:00 GMT+1).
