In European trading, the euro advanced against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD rose in the European session as an interest rate cut by the FED is now almost certain with some analysts considering an even stronger cut by 50 bps and more cuts by the end of 2025. In the Eurozone German Industrial Production figures came out with data being higher than expected (1.3% realised vs 1.1% expected). In the US, CB Employment Trends Index for August (107.55 last month) will be released (15:00 GMT +1).
