During European trading, the British Pound climbed against the US Dollar trading above 1.3000 levels.
The Pound jumped to near 1.3050 after gaining ground close to the psychological support of 1.3000 against the US Dollar on Friday. In the UK, Core Retail Sales data for September was 4% vs 3.2% expected. In the United States, Building Permits data for September (1.45 mln exp) will be posted (13:30) and Fed Members Bostic and Kashkari will speak (14:30 and 15:00 respectively).
