During European trading, the British Pound rose against the US Dollar, trading above 1.3200 levels.
The GBP/USD currency pair rose slightly up as the markets were slowly reversing course as the pair reached a one month low, and in anticipation of inflation data from the US. In the UK, Average Earnings Index + Bonus data for March came in with data being higher than expected (5.5% realised with 5.2% expected) and Bank of England Governor Bailey will speak (16:00 GMT+1). In the US, CPI Inflation data for April (2.4 exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
