During European trading, the British Pound fell against the US Dollar, trading below 1.3500 levels.
The GBP/USD currency traded lower in the European Session as the US dollar strengthened from safe-haven demand as the Israel - Iran conflict has escalated and ahead of the FED’s interest rate decision. In the UK, CPI Inflation data for May came out higher than expected (3.4% realised vs 3.3% expected). In the US, the FED’s Interest Rate Decision (expected unchanged at 4.5%) will be posted (19:00 GMT+1).
