During European trading, the British Pound fell against the US Dollar, trading below 1.3400 levels.
The GBP/USD currency declined to a two month low, although bounced back slightly in the European Session, but sterling remains under pressure as expectations build that the Bank of England will cut rates in the coming months. In the UK, Bank of England Consumer Credit for June was lower than expectations this morning. In the US, CB Consumer Confidence for July (95.9 expected) and JOLTS Job Openings for June (7.490 mln exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
