During European trading, the British Pound advanced against the US Dollar, trading above 1.3300 levels.
The GBP/USD traded upward in the European session, as the upcoming interest rate decision by the FED and lower global trade tensions are creating negative pressure for the US dollar. In the UK, CBI Distributive Trades Survey data for October (-28 expected) will be published (11:00 GMT). In the US Durable Goods Orders data for September (-2.7% last month) will be posted (12:30 GMT).*
*Most US Government data will not be published (or will be delayed) because of a government shutdown. Non government US data will be released as normal.
