During European trading, the British Pound retreated against the US Dollar, trading below 1.3200 levels.
The GBP/USD traded downward in the European session, as the US dollar was strengthened by the FED’s caution on December rate cuts and as the markets are expecting higher odds of an interest rate cut by the Bank of England. In the UK, there are no major data releases today. In the US GDP data for Q3 (3.0% exp) will be released (12:30 GMT).*
