During European trading, the British pound fell against the US Dollar trading below 1.36500 levels.
The GBP/USD was slightly lower in the European session as the US dollar strengthened following stronger-than-expected US jobs data, which dampened expectations for imminent Federal Reserve rate cuts. In the UK, GDP data came out lower than expected at 0.1% vs 0.2% expected. In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (222k expected) will be released (13:30 GMT).
