In European trading, the US Dollar rose against the Canadian Dollar, trading above 1.3700 levels.
The USD/CAD currency pair advanced slightly in the European Session as the Canadian Central Bank is expected to cut interest rates today before the FED, which is also expected to cut interest rates creating potential volatility in the currency pair. In Canada, Bank of Canada Interest rate decision (cut of 0.25% to 2.5% exp) will be announced (14:45 GMT+1). In the US, the Fed Interest Rate decision (cut of 0.5% to 4.25% expected) will be released (19:00 GMT +1), followed by a press conference (19:30 GMT+1).
