In European trading, the US Dollar increased against the Canadian Dollar, trading above the 1.3600 level.
The USD/CAD pair continued climbing as the commodity-linked Canadian dollar weakened on lower oil prices in the European session, while traders also scaled back expectations for Fed rate cuts this year amid concerns that rising energy prices could push inflation higher. In Canada, Trade Balance data for January (-1.10 bln exp) will be released (12:30 GMT). In the US, Q4 GDP data (1.4% expected) will be posted (12:30 GMT) and JOLTS Job Openings for January (6.760 mln exp) will be released (14:00 GMT).
