The US Dollar fell against the Japanese Yen in European trading below 151.50 levels.
The currency pair is facing strong downward pressure, because it is expected that within the span of a couple of days the FED will lower and the BoJ will raise their interest rates (December 18th and 19th). In Japan, Q4 BSI Large Manufacturing Conditions (1.8 exp) will be posted (23:50 GMT). In the US, Q3 Nonfarm Productivity (2.2% exp) and Unit Labor Costs (1.9% exp) data will be released (13:30 GMT).
