The US Dollar declined against the Japanese Yen in the European trading session, trading below 154.45 levels.
The USD/JPY pair declined as the Japanese Yen continued to find support on increasing expectations that the Bank of Japan will raise interest rates in the coming months. In Japan, Tokyo Core CPI data for January (2.5% exp) will be posted (23:30 GMT) and Industrial Production for December (-0.1% exp) data will be released (23:50 GMT). In the US, GDP figures (2.70% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (224k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT).
