The US Dollar is up against the Japanese Yen in the European trading session, trading above 143.000 levels.
The USD/JPY currency pair gained ground as positive news concerning China - US trade talks created upward pressure for the US dollar. In Japan, Jibun Bank Services PMI data for April were released with data being higher than expected (52.4 realised vs 52.2 expected).
