The US Dollar retreated against the Japanese Yen in the European trading session, trading below 146.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded lower in the European session, as safe haven demand for the US dollar decreased as the peace in the Middle - East seems to be holding for the time being. In Japan, Year on Year Leading Index data came out with results being better than expected (104.2 realised vs 103.4 expected). In the US, New Home Sales for May (694k exp) and Fed Chair Powell will give further testimony to Congress (15:00 GMT+1).
