The US Dollar retreated against the Japanese Yen in the European trading session, trading below 148.00 levels.
The USD/JPY decreased in the European Session, following lower than expected US CPI inflation and higher than expected Japan PPI inflation data. In Japan, PPI data for July came out with data being higher than expected (2.6% realised vs 2.5% expected). In the US, Fed Member Bostic will speak (18:30 GMT+1).
