The US Dollar advanced against the Japanese Yen in the European trading session, trading above 147.00 levels.
The USD/JPY rose in the European Session, following the resignation of the Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba, creating negative pressure on the Japanese yen. In Japan, the Reuters Tankan Index for September came out with data higher for this month than the previous month (13 this month vs 9 previous month). In the US, PPI for August (0.3% expected) will be released (13:30 GMT +1).
