The US Dollar fell against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading below 147.20 levels.
The USD/JPY traded downward hitting an almost two week low in the European session on hawkish expectations for the Bank of Japan, who might raise interest rates in October. In Japan, Tankan Large Manufacturers Index for Q3 came in at 14, as expected. In the US, ADP Nonfarm Employment Change for September (52k exp) will be released (13:15 GMT+1), Global Manufacturing PMI for September (52.0 exp) and ISM Manufacturing PMI for September (49.0 exp) will be posted at 14:45 and 15:00 respectively.
