The US Dollar advanced against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading above 156.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded higher in the European Session, reaching levels as high since the beginning of the year, as the BoJ Governor met with the Japanese Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama to discuss ongoing economic issues. Last time these two offices met was in October last year, when they warned against excessive yen falls. In Japan, Foreign Investment in Japanese Stocks (-347.3 bln last week) will be posted (23:50 GMT). In the US, Fed Meeting minutes will be published (19:00 GMT).*
