The US Dollar retreated against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading below 157.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded lower in the European Session, as investors are assessing the fact that the Bank of Japan could be preparing for an interest rate hike and as the yen was recovering from low levels not seen since the beginning of the year. In Japan, Tokyo Core CPI data for November (2.7% exp) will be released (23:30 GMT). In the US, there will be no data published due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
