The US Dollar fell against the Japanese Yen in European trading below 159.20 levels.
The USD/JPY pair moved lower in the European session as the yen found support following comments from BOJ Governor Kazuo Ueda, who signalled that underlying inflation is accelerating toward the Bank of Japan’s 2% target, reinforcing expectations of potential policy tightening. In Japan, Trade Balance data for February (-485.0 bln exp) will be released (23:50 GMT). In the US, Weekly ADP Employment Change data (15.50 prev) will be posted (12:15 GMT).
