The US Dollar climbed against the Japanese Yen in European trading above 158.80 levels.
The USD/JPY traded higher in the European session after touching a one week low in the Asian session as markets look towards today’s Fed and tomorrow’s Bank of Japan interest rate decision, with both widely expected to hold rates. In Japan, Foreign Investments in Japanese Stocks (385.5 bln prev) will be released (23:50 GMT). In the US, the Fed will meet to decide on interest rates (3.75% expected - unchanged) at 18:00 GMT.
