The US Dollar rose against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 38.7000 levels.
The USD/TRY volatile currency pair is advancing in the European session as chronic inflation and monetary instability still plague the country. In Turkey Retail Sales data for March was released with data being lower for this month than the month before (9.2% this month vs 12.2% previous month). In the US, the Federal Budget Balance for April (256.4 bln last month) will be released (19:00 GMT+1).
