The US Dollar rose higher against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 39.80 levels.
The USD/TRY pair extended its gains, with higher volatility in the past couple of days, as chronic inflation and monetary instability are creating negative pressures on the Turkish lira. In Turkey, the Unemployment Rate for May (8.6% exp) will be published (08:00 GMT+1). In the US, Fed Chair Powell will speak (14.30 GMT+1), ISM Manufacturing PMI data for June (48.8 exp) and JOLTS Job Openings (7.450 mln exp) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).
