The US Dollar was higher against the Turkish Lira during the European session, trading above 40.80 levels.
The USD/TRY pair rose in the European session as new inflation projections are still deep into double digit territory. In Turkey, End Year CPI Forecast came out with data being slightly higher this month than the previous month (29.69% this month vs 29.66% previous month). In the US, Retail Sales data (3.92% previous) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
